Manthorpe CURV Cowled Universal Roof Vent
The Manthorpe CURV Cowled Universal Roof Vent offers an easy and efficient solution for roof space ventilation and mechanical extraction/soil stack termination, suitable for a range of roofing materials. It is especially useful on jobs where the installer may not know what the roof covering is.
Designed to suit both large and small format interlocking tiles, both flat and profiled in design, including deep bold roll styles of tile.
The vent comes equipped with a flexible flashing skirt that can be adjusted to fit the roof profile to your liking. It also has a strong adhesive backing that ensures a secure seal with the roof. The hooded cowl protects the opening from the elements whilst providing an airflow path into the roof space. An integral 4mm louvred grill within the cowl prevents the entry of debris and large nesting insects.
If you’re using the vent for mechanical extraction or soil stack/vent pipe termination, you’ll notice that the lower outlet has a stepped design to accommodate a 4″, 5″, or oval 6″ connection. If you opt for the 4″ connection, you can easily attach it to one of the flexible pipes from Manthorpe’s GRPA range to extend the ducting into the roof space.
